ASSET MANAGEMENT COMPANY, LLC began as Meredith Industries, a private entity in 1969 in
Memphis  Tennessee. Founded by James Massey, that early beginning was the foundation for several
investments. The companies that have emerged, evolved and later proved successful are very varied in
nature. From metal containers, hazardous waste incinerators, hazardous waste landfill, infectious and
pathological waste, law enforcement, security, complex network applications, video and data compression,
document destruction, agriculture, commercial real estate, hotels, Reits, aircraft sales/charter, airport
management, mortgage banking, cable, IP phone, entertainment, anti piracy protection peer on peer
networks and wound care.
 
James A. Massey, CEO
Mr. Massey began his career after service in U. S Army Aviation;Then Industrial Sales Engineer for the
Pangborn division of Carborundum, specializing in metal treatment and air pollution; Steel Container
Manufacturer; Permitted first hazardous waste incinerator in Tennessee; Conceived & developed the premier
hazardous waste landfill in the world in Emile Alabama; Chairman and CEO of first infectious/pathological waste
disposal company; Twenty years in law enforcement from recruit, training director, police firearms instructor,
division chief; Served twice in Tennessee State government as Chief of    Staff to Lt. Governor and Speaker
of the Senate..... Served in management and on boards in numerous industries such as wound care, airport
management, computer technology, anti piracy on the internet, aircraft sales, hazardous, infectious and low
level nuclear waste, cable, phone, entertainment, real estate, agriculture, mortgage; Venture Capitalist, Master
Mariner, Avid aviation enthusiast since 1957, Airline Transport Pilot type rated in Lear Jets, Citations and
military L-39s. Flight instructor, instruments, fixed, rotary wing and seaplanes, Scottish Right Mason and
Shriner, Married to former Debra Marcrum, three daughters, two grandchildren.
 
 
Terry L. Moore, CFO and Director of Operations
Mr. Moore started his career in public accounting as an auditor and tax accountant. A wide variety of clients
in construction, property development, and manufacturing laid the foundation for his move into private industry.
With an emphasis in manufacturing and construction, Mr. Moore has served as Controller, CFO, Plant Manager,
and Director of Operations. Mr. Moore has been involved in several start-up and “troubled” companies that have
given him a unique perspective in operating philosophy.


Richard A. Cusick
In House Counsel. His areas of expertise include complex civil litigation and intellectual property law. He attended Birmingham-Southern College, where he was named to the dean’s list and was admitted to Kappa Mu Epsilon, the national math honorary. He graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Minor in Mathematics.
In law school at the University of Alabama, Mr. Cusick was elected as Senator to the SGA, where he served on
the Rules Committee. In Law school, he was also the senior Research Editor for the Law and Psychology Review.
While attending law school, Mr. Cusick was concurrently enrolled in the Graduate School of Chemistry giving him
a broad educational exposure to organic chemistry and bio-technology. He is a member of the Birmingham Bar
Association, Alabama State Bar and is registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a patent
attorney.
